*Summary of Interbourse 2018 in Oslo

First  – Thanks to Oslo and Geir Solvberg, for the splendid organized tournament with another great football and logistic – that will forever keep the picture of a Oslo as warm financial city – due to the heavy rain on Friday….

Second – Stockholm was back as Champions, after six years out in the forest…. Big congratulations to them due to the “old trick” winning on penalties. The football in this tournament was better than ever from all Teams, where the new London Team dominated the Group stage with 3 wins and one draw and Madrid  looked younger than ever, so “all in all” a solid tournament with good Football.

Board, Ambassadors, Captains and Homepage.

On the Champions Dinner – Geir Solvberg Oslo was invited to the board of Interbourse football after years of performing contribution. Steven Lacey London was named Ambassador, with hopes that we all want him to come back. If you read between the lines – people who has organized a Tournament and been in Charge of Teams will be involved as either Ambassadors or in the Board in the future, supporting the Team Captains. As we know have a homepage www.interbourse.eu that we hope will be “forever young”… Still our History is our Pictures – so send all pictures you have…

The responsibility for 2019 is taken over by Cboe Global Markets (Bats),

The General idea is to move it to NY for the first Time, but they have also presented a backup with Amsterdam and the board and the Captains felt this was both good cities, so the only thing added was the message from all participating team this year that it could be played 13-14 September next year.

The responsibility for 2020, was proposed to give to Paris

The General Idea with this is that – the tournament celebrate 20 years. We all thought it was a good way to get the Paris Team back and might also Pascal to visit his grown baby or a body that more look like a mature “daughter”… ( We also think London and Milan should get ready for looking over the possibilities soon and Vienna is another city mentioned around the corner)

The Woman “Invasion”

Coming back to the Woman Question and that is that the Organizer will be obliged to also arrange something for Woman. The General plan is that they play 7 – Aside (or 5 aside).  The Organizier – need to put up an own woman team..and all other teams will get an invitation to – either to put up an “own team” or put in “some players into an international team”… With that model it will at least be 2 teams already next year…

Our Goal is that we will be the most Equal Football Tournament in the World…
