The Background to the “New Positive Football Deal” …During the Tournaments 20 years a lot of the Finals has been decided by penalties due to exhausted players. To play 11 a side Football also create both a great physical aspect and in extent of that also injuries of the players. It also create a problem for organizers to organize the Tournament when Teams increase. A Third component in this was also that many of the players who like this Tournament was ageing as well as the demand for Woman to participate.

The Board therefore decided to

Go from 11-aside to 9-aside – which also help future Organizers to Organize the Tournament on just two 11-aside Pitches and still be able to play 4 games at the same time. With that the Tournament will be able to Host as many as 16 Teams in the Future and it also become more easy for Team Captains to pick their Teams now based on recommendations to not be more than 15 Players.

Goals: Due to the happiness to score Goals we keep the 11-aside goals, and you get 2 Goals for a Header

Offside Rule Out: to help Referees to focus on a fair game and take away most of the discussion between referees and players,

Woman Players : Already 2019 we put in the Woman Shootout and that will stay also in 2023. However we have also taking another step to insert Woman in the Tournament and that is that a Team that have 2 Woman on the Pitch at the same time could have an extra player. On the Financial Side if you have 2 Woman they could play for the fee of one.

The New Rules Summary – 9-aside on a 11-aside Half Pitch, No Offside Rule, If Playing with 2 Woman on the Pitch you can add an extra players, Scoring with a Header count as 2 Goals
